There are more work from home opportunities than you can shake a stick at. Every day someone makes a claim of making a hundred thousand dollars a month working only thirty short minutes a day. So you do the math and say If this guy can make that much then maybe I can make the two thousand dollars I need to pay off some of these credit card bills. Unfortunately you step out there only to realize that you couldn’t even generate enough business to even get equal to the amount that initially invested back. Like I said, all home based businesses ideas aren’t created equal.

In my humble opinion, the best approach would be to:

(1) Stay away from the get-rich-without-effort programs that seem too good to be true. I’m not saying that people aren’t creating wealth with some of those programs. I’m just saying that because it worked for them doesn’t mean it will work for you.

(2) get back to the basics which is discovering your passion. What are you doing right now that you’re not getting paid a dime to do but you like doing it anyway? Take me for instance, I absolutely love writing and singing songs. I could go into my recording studio and stay in there for 2 straight days (as long someone brings me some food and my wife kids would visit me). It’s kind of funny in a way because I’ve made more money writing or singing as a amateur than I ever made with the supposedly get rich programs. Yes, I wasted a lot of time and money chasing after that elusive home run ball. It’s so easy to fall victim to it.

(3) understand that some of these same tools that these programs use to create a buzz about their opportunity will more than likely work with the product or service that you create from your passion.

Although you don’t know me as well as you will in months to come, trust me when I tell you that “until you figure out a way to get paid doing what you already enjoy or already good at, you more than likely will continue to struggle.

Obviously this isn’t for everyone but if it applies to you please, please, please do yourself and your family a huge favor, build on what you’re already good at. Your successful, highly profitable business is within you already waiting for you to open the door.
